Union Earns First Round Bye In ECAC Hockey Playoffs For Fourth Straight Year – Union (17-12-5, 10-8-4 ECAC Hockey) finished off the regular season in style with a weekend sweep of St. Lawrence (5-1) and Clarkson (4-0) at Messa Rink, clinching a Top-4 seed, meaning a bye and home ice in the ECAC Hockey playoffs, for the fourth straight season. For Union, the No. 4 seed, the home ice component is key, as the Dutchmen are unbeaten in their last seven games at Messa Rink (6-0-1) and 9-3-2 overall at home this season. Union will host the highest remaining seed from first round in an ECAC Quarterfinal best-of-three series beginning with a 7:00 p.m. contest on Friday, March 15.
