Union Moves Up in Rankings
After picking up two wins this past weekend, Union jumped up three spots to No.11 in the lastest USCHO.com poll (click here) and moved up one spot to No. 12 in the lastest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll (click here).
Union is up to No. 4 in the latest Inside College Hockey Power Rankings (click here) and in a tie for 14th (with Denver) in the all-important PairWise Rankings (click here). With wins against PairWise teams at a premium, games against Colgate and Cornell this weekend are very important, as is the continued success of Harvard, RIT, Michigan, and Merrimack, which have helped boost Union’s RPI.
