Union prepares for road test at Dartmouth
Tonight, the men’s ice hockey team will take on Dartmouth in search of its first regular season sweep against the Big Green since 1996-97.
Above, Troy Grosenick warms up at the morning skate. The big question will be whether Grosenick, who leads the nation with a 1.58 GAA, returns from a lower body injury that kept him out of both games last weekend. We shall see….

Union men and women set for key ECAC stretch run
Today, the Union men’s and women’s ice hockey teams both have key games as they head into the stretch run of ECAC Hockey play. Let’s face it, every game this time of the year is important, as the men’s team chases the Cleary Cup, and the women’s team its first ECAC Hockey playoff berth in program history.

Nice Weekend for Women's Hockey/Union in Polls
After a number of agonizing ties and overtime losses, the women’s ice hockey team recorded its second ECAC Hockey win of the season by earning a 2-0 win over Yale on Pink at the Rink day at Messa Rink. Another weekend, another ECAC road trip for the Dutchmen, who are seeking revenge this weekend for two losses earlier this season against Yale and Brown.
First up for Union will be Yale, the team that handed the Dutchmen their worst loss of the season, a 4-0 defeat on Nov. 12 at Messa Rink.

We are heading into the start of Hobey Baker campaigning season. Union has three strong candidates for the award in junior forward Jeremy Welsh, sophomore goaltender Troy Grosenick and senior forward Kelly Zajac.

A special weekend...
What a weekend it was! While officially, Union wins against Harvard and Rensselaer will only count as four points in the league standings, fans of the program will remember this past weekend for years to come.
First, the Dutchmen beat Harvard 2-0 on Friday night in front of 8,891 (mostly Union) fans at Fenway Park in what is believed to be the largest crowd ever to see an ECAC Hockey regular...

While the weather forecast moved Union’s practice away from Fenway Park tomorrow afternoon, the team will still take the ice tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. at Bentley College in Watertown. The team may have a chance to skate at the Fenway Rink on Friday morning, weather permitting.
