Nice Weekend for Women's Hockey/Union in Polls
After a number of agonizing ties and overtime losses, the women’s ice hockey team recorded its second ECAC Hockey win of the season by earning a 2-0 win over Yale on Pink at the Rink day at Messa Rink. Another weekend, another ECAC road trip for the Dutchmen, who are seeking revenge this weekend for two losses earlier this season against Yale and Brown. We are heading into the start of Hobey Baker campaigning season. Union has three strong candidates for the award in junior forward Jeremy Welsh, sophomore goaltender Troy Grosenick and senior forward Kelly Zajac. A special weekend...
What a weekend it was! While officially, Union wins against Harvard and Rensselaer will only count as four points in the league standings, fans of the program will remember this past weekend for years to come.
